How a board can check us
Ask for the license number on every proposal and look it up with the state. Massachusetts lists Construction Supervisor Licenses through the Department of Public Safety, and home improvement contractor registrations through the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. Which of them a job needs depends on the building, so the proposal says which applies.
Insurance
Ask for a certificate of insurance naming the association, sent by our insurer to your manager. The certificate shows the limits and the dates; check them before work starts.
Warranty
Each scope sheet states its warranty: how long it runs, what it covers and what it excludes. The terms and exclusions are on the sheet, not on this website.
Older buildings
Most of the buildings we work on were built before 1978. See the FAQ for how federal lead rules affect the work.
Ask for the paperwork
We will send the certificate and a blank scope sheet before the walk-through.
